Okay so last winter (okay technically it was the previous one as last winter is...um...over?) I had an incident where there was snow on the ground and to my oblivion there was a 2 hour delay at the school. I get S and Baby A all bundled only to be told by some smart alick kid “don’t you watch the news”. Yeah, great…at that point I came home cussing and fuming and swore I would never let that happen again. And then there was today.
I woke up at about 530 AM super excited about today’s purchases (the new wall unit and maybe with persuasion the marble top table) only to find the ground covered in snow and large flakes falling from the sky. Hmmm well this doesn’t look good I thought and walked out to the living room to turn on the radio. I’ve had that darn radio on all morning. Sure maybe I’ve been busy with our morning routine and not listening intently but still I didn’t hear a single mention of the schools or road condition. Hence the reason we were bundled and walking outside only to find not a single soul out and about. It was a peaceful winter wonderland. Winter, wait a minute. Isn’t it Spring?Well anyways back to the point, here I am again standing in the snow all bundled with no where to go. Dog gone it! AFN radio you suck. I can only hope that this 2 hour delay doesn’t turn into a complete cancellation and the road condition doesn’t turn from red to black. I want my wall unit.

Oops...
Hope you get your wall unit! (I mean, I know you'll get it, but I hope you get it today. :)
Hey, could you email me where that store is? If you have an exact address that's good enough because I have a GPS, if not, a general idea? We've been looking for a store like that. Thanks! My email address is dragonflywings27 at yahoo dot com .
I'm so sick of winter, aren't you? It just sucks.
Good luck with your furniture. It sure is pretty!
What really sucked was when the snow was really bad but they didn't postpone school. Instead, buses were just really slow getting to bus stop.....so a bunch of people were frozen statues by the time it got there. :( Yes, I think I still suffer the affects of the frostbite on my toes...
LOL At least you weren't the only mom walking her kids to school when it was negative 25 out!!!
Hope you got your furniture today!!!
