When I was into stamping, a lot, I was purchasing many stamp sets, paper and stamp pads. I have so much craft stuff that it has taken over our dining room (because there honestly is no better place to put it that is accessible at all times). When I was using these items they didn’t seem to bother me nearly as much as when they are just sitting collecting dust. With the new furniture I told J that I would be putting away these items aka hiding them in a closet. I would like to use them again but I dont see that happening anytime soon and Im tired of them invading my dining room.
Yesterday after J made the purchase official and set up our delivery for the 3rd of April I started to organize. While J was home we rearranged the living room to make room for the shrunk (pictures still need to be taken off of the wall but Ill do that on the 2nd, I don’t think I can live with a bare wall for a week. Seriously, bare walls drive me crazy). When he brought home one of the marble tables (he decided to buy both of the green marble ones although one will have to be stored in the basement) it fit perfectly in the middle of the living room. I absolutely love it and watching the boys chase each other around and around was hilarious. I assume they like it too.
Last night I attacked the dining room. I had to empty out my closet and a section of Baby A’s (which actually isn’t his as the larger section holds J’s military gear and uniforms and the smaller section holds random rubbish) to store the craft items in. Going through those two closets was not fun. There were so many things crammed in there, but it’s done and the dining room looks much, much better. I still need to clean off a few things from the table and the bins of photographs and memorabilia from my closet will have to hang out somewhere until the shrunk arrives but I can live with that for a week. It is that much better people.
Today I need to do some psych reading and hopefully get J to help me move some things downstairs and take others to the bin. I have 2 bags for the airmen’s attic as well. Getting rid of some things is harder than it should be but I know we don’t need all this crud hanging around. Heck this is just one less thing I have to do before we PCS. Hooray for forced organization.
And on the school front, I got a 92 on my Children's Lit paper so I assume I have a solid A overall. I’m behind in psych which sucks but I hope to focus over the next few days and weekend. I have my proctored final on the 2nd which intimidates the heck out of me. I haven’t gotten much on my "winter blues" paper but I hope to work on that this weekend as well. I am calling UMUC today to find out if I can be grandfathered for my degree or if I need the additional writing and history course, fingers crossed (taking as long as I have to finish they have revised the program, go figure). I also have to call and see if they cancelled my last computer class I wanted face to face, on Monday there were only 6 students signed up for the course and I think you need at least 10 to keep it going. I don’t know what other face to face I could switch to but hopefully I don’t have to. Online is not an option because finals overlap our holiday to the beach. Oh goodness writing this down does not make me feel better about any of it.

Woman, you have a lot going on! Just remember to BREATHE!!! It does wonders...at least thats what I keep telling myself.
I can't wait to see pics of your new furniture! I have been on the verge of taking my stamping stuff downstairs...maybe I should just DO IT!
Congrats on the A!!! That rocks! I still haven't gotten my first test back in my A&P class...and my next test is on Tuesday! I'm sooo stressed about that class! (BUT I get to dissect a pig next quarter!)
Try to relax SOME this weekend!!!
Hi!! Wow, I scrolled down and saw the furniture you guys are getting...all I can say is WOW! I never joined in the stamping bandwagon, not because it doesn't interest me, but I've got so many hobbies as it is...maybe when I'm retired, or in a nursing home I'll have time to pick it up!!
Congrats on the A! I hope you don't have to take the other two classes. What are you getting your degree ?
