Being a military family we have been privileged to have had two overseas assignments. We lived 4 years in Belgium and Germany. We tried not to waste that time and traveled as often as we could. Here is the run down of the countries we've visited and pictures from various locations within them.

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! It's my dream to be able visit all of those places someday. We've been absolutely nowhere :P So boring. Even when we were in Colorado we didn't do much because J was so low ranking that we were always broke, lol.
ReplyDeleteSometime if you have a chance I'd love it if you could Email me and share how you were able to travel so often affordably. We're hoping for an overseas assignment next (we'll begin scouting out all the open slots next year) and if we are able to make it to Europe I'd love to take advantage of as much as we can without coming back home 4 Yeats later with boat loads of CC debt. (We've known several families who ended up in that exact scenario)
also, how did you travel so much with young children? We can't even walk to the park without whining. Are your kids just easygoing to begin with or are there some tricks and tips you can share?
Ok. so I have been to Germany (of course), Belgium, France, Austria,Netherlands, and Italy. Seeing your pics, I think I need to see Ireland, England, and Greece!
ReplyDeleteIreland and Greece were amazing. I highly suggest both.
ReplyDeleteThere are no words to explain how I feel when I look at this post. Those of us who have gotten to live overseas are so lucky to have experienced it. We went to several countries, but not nearly as many as you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these pictures, what fabulous memories!
