Spanish Class

For the whole year Q-tip has been taking Spanish after school. Since I don't speak any Spanish I can't verify that he's learned all that much but Ive been told he does really well. Like Drama I'm not sure if he will continue next year. The chances are even less. The offer seasonal clubs at his school and he would really like to do Mad Science and Chess.

He seems to enjoy Spanish for the most part but doesn't seem all that enthused to learn more. Then again that is kind of his nature. For a 9 year old I think he has been lucky to have learned a bit of French, German, and Spanish. Maybe, just maybe, these will help him when he is in high school and actually has to learn a foreign language to graduate.

Before school is out they are having an end of the year pot luck where the families will get to see some the children's Spanish skills in use. I am looking forward to this. Originally I thought he would be taking us to a Spanish restaurant and ordering for us but I guess that's next year...

Hi! My name is Q-tip. I'm 8 years old. I get up at 6:30. I go to Elementary school. I learn things and play with my friends. I eat with my mom, my dad, and my family. I go to bed at 8:00. Good bye!
