Exploring With Grandma

Most of the time spent with my mum was at home with the boys. We ventured to the grocery quite a few times for Thanksgiving but I wouldn't call that exciting really. We spent only one day on the strip for a bit. We went to the Bellagio gardens, watched the water display outside and browsed a few souvenir shops in Miracle Mile. The boys really wanted to take Grandma to M&M World so we did that as well before stopping at Chili's for dinner and returning home.

This years fall garden display.

The pumpkins are so big.

Grandma and Q-tip.

A glimpse of what last years display was like.

These water streams were very neat. Q-tip put his hand in the way of the flow and got J all wet. It was much better to just slice the water and break the stream for a second or so.

There are so many things we didn't get to do while my mum was here and I hope that next time we will have the time to do them. She missed so much of the strip and never even got to see Fremont Street. Next time...and if things go well hopefully that will be next Christmas.

  1. Might I suggest going to the Ethel M Factory? They give you a tour of the factory and you get chocolate at the end. Best of all (besides free chocolate) its 100% free. Lieutenant and I have wanted to go for over a year but just haven't found the time.
