YMCA, Taekwondo & Halloween

Trick-or-treating the booths at the Y.

Watching the balloon artist. We stood in line for over an hour for the boys to get a special Halloween balloon made upon request.

Q-tip chose a skeleton.

Animal chose a pumpkin.

Getting ready to play "pin the stem on the pumpkin".

Q-tip played too.

Photo op! There were a few booths to trick-or-treat, a game, a craft, a bouncy house and a scary maze. The event wasn't extremely large but the kids had fun and accumulated MORE candy.

The Taekwondo trick-or-treat event was a huge success again this year. The boys filled their buckets with candy and treats. I received tons of coupons and information from around the community. Then the boys all took turns playing on the climber course and one game.

Animal was the only boy I could catch in photos and even those are with him on the move.

Animal chose green Vampire teeth as his prize for his game.

The boys (with Animals friend from school) at the end of the trick-or-treating just before heading to IHOP for the free scary face pancakes.

All the kids received a free pancake that they could decorate with candy corn and oreos. Animals scary pancake!

Q-tips scary pancake.

Our group enjoying dinner at IHOP.

Animals friend and his scary pancake.

On Halloween the boys and I chose not to go trick-or-treating. With all the Halloween events we had already attended they had accumulated quite a bit of candy (that we still have random pieces from) so Q-tip did his favorite thing...he handed out candy. He had so much fun and the weather was a bit warmer than last year (notice he is not wearing a jacket).

I supplemented their candy with a few festive treats that were not edible.

They each received a book and Halloween movie...

and Playmobil of course!
